Detailed 8 Days Uganda Savannah Safari & Primates Tour

Day 1: Arrive – Entebbe Airport – meet/greet – transfer to hotel -briefing – overnight

Arrive meet our representative/guide transfer to the hotel for briefing and an overnight. (Meal Plan on B/D)

Day 2: Entebbe/Kampala – Ziwa Rhino – Shoebill – transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Have a morning breakfast there after drive towards Murchison Falls national park, you will go through the Luwero triangle, stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary a home to various rhinos and also en route the rare Shoebill, lunch as you head to the park. Check in at the lodge and relax in the evening. (Meal Plan on F/B)

Day 3 of 8 Days Uganda Savannah Safari & Primates Tour: Murchison Fall National Park – Game drive – afternoon boat cruise – hike to the Top of the Falls

In the morning have an early breakfast and proceed to the park for the game drive, you will be able to view various animals such as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, giraffes, lions, and also different bird species among others.

After lunch go for a boat cruise during the afternoon on the Nile River, later proceed for a hike to the top of the falls where you will be in line to see the Nile and how it makes its way through the narrow gap, after meet your driver guide and drive back to the Lodge, have dinner and overnight. Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park – Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park – Bigodi wet land walk

On this day you will enjoy your early morning breakfast at your lodge, there after drive to Kibale national park. On your way you wouldn’t want to miss out on the beautiful countryside endowed with the Albertine escarpments so you will you will pass via Hoima to Fort portal.

Stopover for lunch in Fort Portal, after lunch continue to Kibale national park, which is one of Africa’s great rain-forests, this park is home to 13 primate species such as chimpanzees, red tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys and birds such as rumpled tinker bird, the green breasted pitta, yellow spotted nicator and option to do the Bigodi swamp walk before you go for dinner and overnight. Day 5 of 8 Days Uganda Savannah Safari & Primates Tour: Kibale Forest National Park – Chimpanzee tracking – transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Wake up early enough and have breakfast, after breakfast proceeds to the park headquarters with packed lunch from the lodge for the briefing about chimpanzee tracking. Later, enter the amazing rain forest to look for the Chimpanzees, meeting them will be one of the most amazing experiences as you enjoy watching them play around, feed young ones, and the males guarding the territories.

After that, enjoy your packed lunch in the wild, in the afternoon after tracking, later transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, do an evening game drive before you check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight. (Meal Plan on F/B)

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Game drive – Boat Cruise – transfer Bwindi impenetrable National Park

An early morning game drive in the Kasenyi savannah plains to experience the wild with its flora ns fauna, return for breakfast, before you transfer for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, lunch and set off for Bwindi impenetrable National Park found in the Southwestern part of Uganda, and its renown for being a home to over 400 mountain gorillas. On the way to the park, you will see various animals, and amazing vegetation together with the local people along the road. You will as well enjoy lots of animal species along the way to the park arrive in the evening to check in for dinner and overnight. (Meal Plan on F/B)

Day 7 of 8 Days Uganda Savannah Safari & Primates Tour: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Gorilla trekking – Cultural Experience

Enjoy an early morning breakfast; later continue to the park headquarters for a briefing. After briefing, the rangers will guide you through the forest as you start your search for the Mountain gorillas. Gorilla trekking is an amazing activity though can be tiring, it takes 2 to 8 hours.

After trekking head back to the lodge for your lunch, later in the evening you could opt for relaxing at the lodge or visit the Batwa community to have fun as you enjoy their cultural dances. (Meal Plan on F/B)

If departing Entebbe the same night, please note’ both by use of charter flight or by road’ return to Entebbe is always late morning (approximately 11h.00/12h00-by charter flight) or (approximately 15h30/16h30-road), please DO NOT book flights departing prior to 16h00 or 22h00 respectively in order to allow time for security, check in and if any delays due to weather.
