Brief History of Marembo Apartments
The word Marembo originates from the Ankole culture in the Sheema district, simply meaning peace. Given that Uganda – the Pearl of Africa is blessed with peaceful and welcoming people, the director of Marembo Apartments, decided to use the word for hospitality in Lodging. As you head towards the Kitagata Hot springs in the Sheema district, there is a place called Peace in English but locally means Marembo. This is exactly where we are based to start up a company called Kitagata Safaris Uganda in the name of Kitagata Hot springs strategically located in Sheema District in Western Uganda.
